Your Power - Sponsors of the Bristol Harbour Festival 2011

This year's popular Bristol Harbour Festival had a strong focus on renewable energy and sustainable living - who better then to sponsor the Good Living Zone than Your Power?

The weekend held plenty of PV themed fun, and gave the public many chances to win a host of solar goodies. The Your Power Solar Lounge was the place to go to learn about how to reduce carbon emissions with the Your Power team and so much more. Visitors had fun playing on our Solar Powered Wii - the most environmentally friendly console on the market. We also raised a lot of funds for the festival's charity Penny Brohn - a local cancer care charity. We haled a solar raffle, and the lucky winner is now the proud owner of a 4kW PV system!

Your Power delighted people of all ages with our very own Solar Pirate: Captain Solar and his amazing solar canon! When we generated enough energy from the sun, Captain Solar couldn't help but celebrate by firing the solar canon, which propelled foam balls into the Amphitheatre, giving people a chance to win solar powered phone chargers.
