Helen Mallory is a landscape gardener from Evesham, Worcestershire. She lives with her partner and four children. She had her solar PV system installed in January 2011 by Your Power.

Helen says:

"I was considering installing solar PV in conjunction with refurbishment work I was doing on my property.  We use a lot of electricity in our home and with the escalating energy prices I was looking at reducing our annual bill in some way. I am also conscious of the high environmental impact we are having on our planet.

"I was aware that the Government are encouraging property owners to install solar PV by providing a fixed ‘reward’ for each unit of electricity generated.

"Your Power installed the panels neatly, considerately placed the cabling and left the site neat and tidy. I’m delighted!

"What’s more, I am able to monitor the power generated remotely and even in the winter months have made over £150 in ten weeks, that’s in addition to the savings I have made by generating my own electricity!  I’m looking forward to seeing the full benefit of my investment over the course of the year. In any event, Your Power project that the whole system will be fully ‘re-paid’ in eight years and I will continue to receive the guaranteed payment from the Government for a further 17 years.
